#235 – Phil Morgan – CIO/CSO – NC-Expert

Phil is another great cyber professional we met at The Pacific Hackers Conference in November. He goes in depth about the attack vectors of Wifi and wireless. Those vectors include Bluetooth, cell providers, or something as simple as connecting any of your devices to a home wireless network. Bad actors are going after the easy money, so we must allocate time and resources to keep all those devices and software up to date to at least try to keep pace with them. Phil gives us some advice on how to keep our safe. He talks about being more careful about QR codes out in the wild. He also explains how firewalls and other security things exist for a reason. Some civilians think turning a firewall off is no big thing, but they need to be educated. That is where NC-Expert can help!!
