#211 – Shanon Burgess – Digital Forensic Analyst – CAC Forensics

Shanon talks about damaged device forensics and Cybersecurity. Digital forensics is great because you get to work on cutting edge technologies. As cyber evolves there are new challenges that come with encryption and other things that arise. The biggest issues Shanon sees in the industry is imposter syndrome and people being able and willing to step out of their comfort zone. So much can be learned through failure, in both careers and in life in general. So much growth happens outside of our comfort zones. It’s ok to be afraid, but don’t let that deter you from taking a leap and potentially changing your life for the better. To overcome imposter syndrome it is important to embrace knowing you don’t know everything, but knowing how to find the answers you need is as important a skill to have.
